Welcome to the DOJO!

The Dojo is presenting a ranking system, placing each tournament competitor on the dojo’s new and dynamic leaderboard! Accumulate points and track your progress against the best the dojo has to offer. Also, we are introducing monthly tournaments with big cash prizes. Details below!

Cash is King:

Players will be invited to cash tournaments based on their player rankings. Higher ranked players will be invited to bigger cash tournaments. We will wipe the rankings every season. The time-span of each season will vary.

How We Rank Players:

Fighters gain 100 points for every win in Rob’s weekly tournaments. Each tournament champion will receive an additional 300 points. We wanted to differentiate between winners and champions in a significant manner. This way, even if champions are not as active, they stay high in the rankings barring too long an absence. We believe players have earned their spot above someone who merely wins one match in three separate tournaments, even in the event that someone wins a weekly tournament but can’t participate every time.

This provides a balanced, merit-based ranking system that we hope everyone will enjoy. Rank in the top 16 to get an invitation to our Sweet 16 Tournament explained later. Players will be unranked until they win. Tiebreakers will be decided based on fighter’s overall record, followed by tourneys won in the event that it goes to another tiebreaker.

Deciding Weight Classes:

Competitors will have to mutually agree on which weight class to choose for their fight. Can’t agree? Rob will choose the weight class. But, Rob CANT choose either weight class desired by either of the players. If Player 1 and Player 2 agree on middleweight, the fight will be at middleweight. However, If Player 1 wants middleweight and Player 2 wants lightweight, Rob will choose a weightclass excluding player 1’s choice and player 2’s choice of weight class.

Sweet 16 Tournament:

Every month Rob will invite the top 16 monthly ranked players on the Dojo leader board to compete for BIG cash prizes. Players not in the top 16 are still qualified to compete in the Champion’s Tournament, IF any of the top 16 players do not accept the invitation for whatever reason. If there is an opening, Rob will be the one who decides who gets to compete in the Champion’s Tournament.

Regular point system does not apply in this tournament. No points earned in the sweet 16 tournament.

Wager Matches

To provide a competitive playing field, we have decided to introduce wager matches. Every Wednesday wager matches will be hosted on a fight card on LIMITLESSTROLL’s twitch channel. Wagers are meant to give our competitors the opportunity to settle any disputes and target their rivals by wagering points. See WAGER LEDGER for more information.

*Tournament Attendance*

We put a lot of time into organizing tournaments and not everyone will be able to participate. So, if you do sign up and are given a fight and do not show up, we will penalize you. The penalties for not showing up will be left up to Rob’s discretion.
